Update: President Trump Signs An Executive Order Giving Miliary Leadership 30 Days To Submit To Him A Plan To Defeat ISIS
Date: January 28th, 2017
“Trump said the third order is a plan to defeat the Islamic State, also known as ISIS, in Iran and Syria.
The president, in the order, also asks the U.S. military’s Joint Chiefs of staff to come up with a plan in 30 days to defeat ISIS.”
“The third executive order gives military leaders 30 days to construct and present a report outlining the U.S. strategy for defeating the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the official said.
“This is the plan to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria,” Trump said, declaring, “I think it’s going to be very successful.””
“President Donald Trump signed three executive actions Saturday that imposed a five-year lobbying ban for administration officials, reorganized the National Security Council’s structure and called for a plan to be delivered to him within 30 days on how defeat ISIS, administration officials said.
According to the officials, the action regarding the NSC will outline new procedures and organizational structure of the organization to better adapt to the threats. The NSC is led by retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who spent much of Saturday in the Oval Office as Trump had scheduled phone calls with world leaders.”
I”m not sure how this can be considered complete. It’s only an instruction. Once the plan is submitted and ISIS is defeated within the 30-day span, then it can be classed as complete.

This is an invalid claim. It still should be in progress until either a) the 30 days are up. Or b) ISIS has been defeated in it’s 30 day period. As of now, ISIS still exist.
